McDonald’s launches ONION RINGS to Australia’s record for the first time ever – and you can also enjoy them in sets inside a modern burger

McDonald’s has been enjoying dinners with the new release of onion rings.

For the first time ever, the classic fast food item will appear on menus at restaurants across Australia from Wednesday, January 19 for just four weeks.

Soaked in batter and fried to perfection, the ‘tasty crunchy’ onion rings, made with Australian onions, are served with South BBQ sauce.

BBQ crispy McOz: The Crispy BBQ McOz is a version of the famous McOz. Made with 100% Aussie beef, juicy beetroot, crispy onions and South BBQ Sauce

Aussie Angus: With delicious golden onion rings and a delicious Southern BBQ Sauce, the new Aussie Angus also features 100% Australian Angus beef, bacon, beetroot and a slice of cheese

‘We will be serving golden onion rings across the country for the first time ever,’ said Amanda Nakad, McDonald’s Australia’s marketing manager.

The onion rings can also be placed as a side dish to a new range of burgers, including the ‘Aussie Angus’ and ‘Crispy BBQ McOz’, which is a spin on the famous McOz.

With delicious golden onion rings and a delicious Southern BBQ Sauce, the Aussie Angus includes Angus meat, beets and a slice of cheese.

‘The all-new Aussie Angus burger is combined with 100 per cent Australian beef and bacon to create a tasty burger that we know our customers will enjoy,’ she said.

We’re also bringing a much-loved new version to McOz, when the Crispy BBQ McOz came to our list. Building on the original, this burger serves crispy onions and South BBQ Sauce with local beef and beets. ‘

The three new record products will be available until Tuesday, February 16th.

‘Don’t forget to get in quickly, as these record materials will only be for a short time,’ Ms Nakad said.

Diners can order the latest refresher version of a range of slushies for just $ 1.

Customers can get a great Frozen Coke along with one of seven fresh flavors of your choice – including grape, raspberry, pine, lime, blueberry, mango and vanilla.

With the different combos, dinners can mix more than one flavor together to create the drink itself – meaning there are 38 flavors for customers to choose from.

To take your slushy to the next level, you get tops for an extra $ 1.

Diners can upgrade to a $ 2 Frozen Coke Deluxe, which comes with a swirl of soft serve, with a sprinkle of fizzy lollies.
