Review: Powme’s 3-in-1 wireless charger is a game changer for working

Powme has designed the 3-in-1 Wireless Charger specifically to be a portable device, capable of being fitted inside laptop bags, luggage, backpacks, and even most the purses. And they are right – it is very small compared to most other power hubs on the market.

Coming in at less than three inches across, five inches long, and under an inch thick, the Powme 3-in-1 Wireless Charger takes up less space on your desktop than it does. most iPhones. We like this because it means it can respond easily even in the most limited configurations.

It also has good weight for its size, and while we’ve only been living with it for a short time, it feels well-made.

We do have one gripe, though: the Powme logo. While we don’t remember what the logo looks like, it lights up when plugged into power. That makes it a less suitable bedside companion, if you should be the kind of person who keeps the gear close to their bed – like a college student in a dorm.

The main reason most of us turn to hubs like this one is that our MacBooks don’t have enough ports.

The 3-in-1 Wireless Charger provides a few extra ports in a small, easy-to-carry package. It has a QC 3.0 USB-A port, perfect for connecting a USB mouse or keyboard or charging additional devices. USB-A 3.1 port allows you to connect thumb drives and external hard drives and transfer data up to 10 gigabits per second.

As expected, it includes a micro SD and a standard SD slot – but we were still happy to see it introduced. This is perfect for those of us who sometimes shoot on cameras that write to SD cards.

And it also includes a single 60Hz 4k HDMI port, perfect for connecting to an outdoor monitor or boardroom projector if needed.

All in all, we were pleased with what the mid-size paint had to offer and thought it could easily earn a permanent place in your tech bag as your travel hub.

Of course, not all of these ports are the same draw to the Powme 3-in-1 wireless charger – it’s a charger, after all.

While it wouldn’t be a good solution for higher-powered MacBooks – especially if they’re under load – the 30W USB-C port for MacBook can sustain. However, it will work well if you perform tasks with lower power such as editing spreadsheets or replying to emails, and will charge an idling or sleeping machine without any problem. If you rock a MacBook Air or iPad, it’s a perfect tech-bag companion.

Not only is it a handy little medium that powers your MacBook or iPad, but it’s a wireless charger that can charge your iPhone, Apple Watch, or AirPods as well.

The Qi wireless charger can charge at up to 10W, while the Apple Watch wireless charger increases at 5W.

It was here that he changed our game. A cluttered workplace is hardly ideal, especially if you’re doing short-term travel or doing something as simple as moving from your office to the boardroom for an evening.
