Drew Brees may have played his last game in the NFL as his Saints lost 30-20 to the Buccaneers in the playoffs
Drew Brees threw three comments in what is said to be the last game of the NFL career, as his New Orleans Saints were knocked out of the playoffs by a 30-20 regional round loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday.
Brees (42) and Tampa quarterback Tom Brady (43) became the oldest QBs ever to compete in a playoff game, but he is the last one now to play. advancing to compete in a 14th Conference Championship game in his career – the six-time First Super Bowl winner with the Buccaneers after moving from the New England Patriots in due time.

None of the older ones calling tokens played particularly well in this one. Brady finished just 18 of his 33 attempts for 199 yards, though he threw two passes and ran in another himself. He also did not turn, essentially, the ball.
At the same time, Brees was responsible for three of the Saints’ total four turns. They would prove costly mistakes, with Tampa Bay scoring three touches off the back of the four takeaways.
Brees completed 19 of 34 passes for 134 yards and a sailboat to go with his three bricks. He struggled throughout the game to throw the ball straight down the field, relying on short-range wins that the Buccaneers defense was fully equipped to defend.

The only time New Orleans was able to benefit from deep-hitting the ball was the former Bucs quarterback, and Saints’ usual backup Jameis Winston gave up a spark. Tre’Quan Smith on a 56-yard strike.
That play saw the Saints regain their lead, 13-10, after Brady completed a series of field goals to open the game by picking up Mike Evans in the endzone for three-yard score – after Brees’ first appearance of the game.

Ryan Succop ‘s second of three field goals on the night tied the game up in the final seconds of the first half, but the Saints started stronger after the break, with Brees throwing a 16 – yard pass to Smith. on their opening row.
However, on their next possession, New Orleans tight end Jared Cook halted the football, helping to set up a six-yard scoring strike from Brady to Leonard Fournette to tie the game. again at 20-20.
Succop’s 36-yard field goal was scored shortly afterwards when the Bucs came up with three, before Devin White came down with Brees’ second interception and Brady took full advantage by running in for a goal-line score. with five minutes left.
Traveling before 10, desperate Brees threw the third and final selection as Tampa Bay closed out the game, avenging their two regular losses to the Saints and marching towards Green Bay for a meeting with the Packers in the NFC Championship game next Sunday.
