The 16th round of the German league continued tonight (Sunday) and after the stumbles of Leipzig, Leverkusen and Dortmund, Bayern Munich did the job with a hard 1: 2 over Freiburg. Thanks to the victory, the champion opened a gap of 4 points at the top.

After two hallucinatory games for her (the 3: 2 loss to Mönchengladbach in the league and the sensational relegation from the cup by Kiel from the second league), the European champions recovered at home but it was not easy either. Bayern recovered quickly, and a quarter of an hour before the whistle Muller was assisted by Sana’s delivery and returned the advantage to the host, and also set the final score.
Bottom line, Bayern took advantage of the stumbles of Leipzig, Leverkusen and Dortmund in this round and opened a 4-point gap at the top. Freiburg’s run came to a halt after five straight wins in the league.
