
Dortmund fails to rise. The yellow-blacks finished with a disappointing 1: 1 against the penultimate Mainz and moved away from the top. In addition, Mons Dabour scored 79 minutes in Hoffenheim’s 0-0 win over Armenia Bielefeld and Leipzig parted ways in a 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg.
Mainz – Dortmund 1: 1
After two consecutive wins Dortmund were stopped. With eight games without a win, Mainz came close to surprising Dortmund, but parted ways in a draw against the top team. The last in the table went up to 0: 1 in the 57th minute from a goal by Levin Oztonelli and the 1: 1 came in the 73rd minute from the feet of Thomas Munier. The defender scored from the edge of the box and Dortmund missed an opportunity to dare a quick turnaround after a foul by Marco Royce in the 76th minute.
Hoffenheim – Armenia Bielefeld 0: 0
Mons Dabour started in the lineup and played 79 minutes in the bottom fight. Following the result Hoffenheim’s gap from the red line remained at four points and she stopped a streak of two losses. The host held the ball more and threatened the goal more, but did not find the net.
Wolfsburg – Leipzig 2: 2
The guest with a second game without a win in the last three league games and she could fall behind by 4 points from the leading Bayern Munich.
