Israel posts more than 9,000 new virus cases every day for the 3rd day in a row

Israel on Thursday saw more than 9,000 new cases of daily coronavirus for the third day in a row, health officials confirmed.

The Ministry of Health said 9,388 people tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday after some 127,768 tests were performed, raising the infection rate to 7.9%.

Of the 78,215 active coronavirus patients in Israel, 1,834 are currently hospitalized. At least 1,063 are in poor condition, with 273 ventilated.
