After announcing earlier this week its smallest 42-inch OLED TV to date, LG continues to announce an even smaller screen – but this time it is a professional desktop screen from the company’s prestigious UltraFine series, model 32EP950. This is a 31.5-inch OLED screen with 4K resolution.
Of course, thanks to the technology, the use of OLED allows each of the pixels that make up the display, and there are a total of 8 million of them, to be controlled independently, and it can be turned off or on depending on the required lighting intensity.
The monitor is equipped with a variety of connections: a USB-C connection, three standard USB connections, two DiaplyPort inputs and one HDMI input. LG claims 99% compatibility with DCI-P3 and Adobe RBG standards for more accurate colors. You can also switch between different display settings that simulate TV screens and cell phone screens, so that graphic designers can understand how their work products will look on different platforms.
LG has not yet announced exactly when the new screen will be available for sale, and how much it will cost. It can be assumed with great confidence, however, that the final price will be relatively high: the company’s UltraFine screens are intended for a professional audience, and previous models in the series will be priced at $ 1,000 and even more in the United States.
