NBA Collection: Damian Lillard completes 40 as Blazers cut Kings

Damian Lillard set up the season’s best points of 40 points and 13 assists and the Portland Trail Blazers collected from a 19-point deficit, the third quarter to a 132-126 victory over the Sacramento Kings host Wednesday night.

CJ McCollum added 28 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds as Portland won the fourth straight straight game of the season. Lillard and McCollum scored six points-3 for the Trail Blazers, who were 23 of 48 from behind the arc and shot 48.9 percent overall.

De’Aaron Fox had 29 points and Buddy Hield made the best eight points of the season scoring 26 points for the Kings, who have lost for the sixth time in the last eight games. .

Tyrese Haliburton had 17 points and nine assists, while Richaun Holmes recorded 17 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Sacramento.

Dallas Mavericks 104 – Charlotte Hornets 93

Luka Doncic collected 34 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists to build Dallas past Charlotte, who lost Gordon Hayward to a hip injury in the third quarter.

Doncic made 5 of 9 hits from a 3-point range to send the Mavericks to their fourth straight overall win and fourth in a row in Charlotte. Tim Hardaway Jr. had 18 points. and Kristaps Porzingis added 16 while making his first season for Dallas.

Hayward scored 16 points before leaving the game. Terry Rozier scored 18 points and PJ Washington added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Hornets, which saw their four-game streak come to an end.

Memphis Grizzlies 118 – Minnesota Timberwolves 107

Kyle Anderson tied on 3-pointers in an eight-point run halfway through the fourth quarter that led Memphis past Minnesota in Minneapolis.
