Holloway was just 21 at the time of the case and went on an incredible run of 13 consecutive UFC wins, including a backhand win over Jose Aldo.
The Hawaii firefighter is looking to stop a two-fight losing streak at Fight Island on Saturday when he confronts Calvin Kattar but said a reshuffle with McGregor ‘intrigues’ on him.
“I’m a competitor. I want to compete, ”said the old featherweight champion. “People consider it [to be] one of the best boys in our sport. You know what I mean? To this day.

The fight was just like McGregor’s second in the UFC
“I can’t wait. As a competitor, I would [rematch him]. That was one of the fights that got me into it.
“And like you said, we fought [such] a long time ago. And he knows that too.
He said: “At the end of the day, as I said, first things first, we have Kattar. We’ll find out later. “
Holloway also recalled a nice time the pair shared right before putting pressure back in 2013.

He said: “It was great. I mean, like, the dude, like… we get in each other’s faces for weightlifting.
“But just before the pressure comes, we are at the back and we stand side by side because you are like this (putting his ancestors together) before you walk out.
“And it’s like, ‘Hey.’ I said to him, ‘Hey, nice shorts.’ And it’s like, ‘You too.’
“We had some interesting shorts at the time. And then there it is. The dude is a good boy. ”
