Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios have announced the remake of an awesome ’90s horror film series to come I know what you did last summer, and the team of teens who are going to be horrible is officially confirming.
On Monday, January 11, the studios confirmed several shooting members, including Madison Iseman, who starred Jumanji: The next level, Ashley Moore à Popstar: Never stop without stopping, and Brianne Tju, who starred Light as a feather. Other famous names include Sebastian Amoruso from Release, Cassie Beck à Binding, Brooke Bloom de Homecoming, newcomer Ezekiel Goodman, Bill Heck from I am your woman, and Fiona Rene of Stumptown.
Seann Gossip Girl producer Sara Goodman will write and produce the series, along with action producers Shay Hatten, Neal Moritz at Original Film and Pavun Shetty and James Wan at Atomic Monster, Rob Hackett, and Michael Clear. For the first program, Craig Macneill directs and directs production.
News of the throw did not come with any information regarding possible positions, however Deadline reveals that Madison is ready to represent Jennifer Love Hewitt-esque main character.
In addition, the series was proven to take its origins from the original 1973 novel on which the original film franchise was also based. “In a city full of mystery, a group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious murder a year after a fatal crash on their graduation night,” the first description of the series read in a press release.
Amazon Studios first confirmed they had ordered the series back in October, Deadline recitation. At the time, Albert Cheng, COO and CO-Head of Television, Amazon Studios, announced the remake of “a very complex update to the iconic slasher film. ”
Sharing news about her new role with Instagram, Madison, who was also a star Still the King with Billy Ray Cyrus, joking about her possible new title, writing, “Does this make me the official screaming queen? Eeeeeep. ”Her future costars, including Brianne and Ezekiel, celebrated the news with their fans.
A date for the series has not yet been set, but production will begin this month in Hawaii, a press release reports. I know what you did last summer streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
