Peak infection in one day: Yesterday (Monday) 9,589 positives for Corona were diagnosed in Israel. A total of about 129,000 tests were performed and the positive rate was 7.6%.

In Jerusalem, according to the Ministry of Health, the rate of positive tests in the last seven days is 15%, in Bnei Brak 17%, in Modi’in Illit 20%, in Beit Shemesh 17%, in Tel Aviv-Yafo 4%, in Petah Tikva 6%, in Haifa 7%, in Ashdod 8%, in Beitar Illit 28%, in Elad 20%, in Netanya 7%, in Holon 6%, in Nazareth 16%, in Be’er Sheva 5% and in Rishon Lezion 5%.
There are no green cities in Israel. Among the yellow cities according to the traffic light plan: Ramat Hasharon, Hod Hasharon, Ness Ziona, Givatayim, Herzliya, Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut, Ariel, Yehud and Eilat.
The Ministry of Health has added to the page where it publishes the data also the vaccine indices. According to the ministry’s data, so far 20.9% of the Israeli population has already received the first dose of the vaccine against the virus. Yesterday, according to the data, 21,611 people in Israel received the first dose of the vaccine. In total, 1,854,055 people received the vaccine in the first dose. In recent days, the vaccination campaign has begun in the second dose of the vaccine, which is supposed to give about a week after the administration of the second dose 95% immunity to the virus.
Yesterday, Israel crossed the threshold of half a million people infected with the outbreak of the corona plague, and became the 29th country in the world to be diagnosed with more than 500,000 people infected with the virus.
