KitKat has been delighting fans with the unveiling of a new sweet range of chocolates inspired by some of Australia’s favorite ice cream flavors.

Just in time for summer, Caramel Crisp and Mint Choc Chip are the latest addition to complement its popular range in the chocolate aisle in supermarkets across the country.

Both flavors are available in the iconic chocolate blocks and four-finger bars.

Caramel Crisp consists of crisp wafer fingers covered in chocolate with a creamy caramel flavor, with French caramel flavors, all on a creamy white chocolate base.

While Mint Choc Chip offers crisp wafer fingers covered with chocolate mint-flavored cream, with Swiss cocoa rings, all on a smooth milk chocolate base.

‘There are two things we know about Australians – summer and ice cream,’ said Nestlé ‘s head of marketing confectionery, Joyce Tan.

‘With mint and caramel continuing to emerge as fan favorites, what better way to enjoy those flavors and relax over the summer, than with our new KitKat bars which inspired ice cream.

The new flavors are sold in supermarkets and in select convenience stores.

Last year, the brand launched the huge chocolate bar KitKat Chunky Gold Krisp after bringing Chunky and Gold fans together in one.

The bar is made with golden goodness from top to bottom, boasting three ‘lusciously’ light layers of the iconic crisp wafer.

With white chocolate gold and crunchy waffle pieces at the top, finished with a gold chocolate base, customers can enjoy the caramelized break for $ 2.
