The Ministry of Energy will invest NIS 17 million in projects in the field – more in the news

The Ministry of Energy will provide NIS 17.2 million for about 20 innovative projects in the fields of energy, from those involved in charging vehicles and electric buses, through the use of hydrogen for transportation purposes to an energy-zero residential neighborhood. The support stands at a rate of 50% of the approved budget presented by the developer and up to NIS 3 million in the areas of fuel substitutes for transportation and electricity and NIS 1.5 million for the other areas of energy.

The selected projects received support as part of the “Pioneer and Demonstration” call of the Chief Scientist Unit of the Ministry of Energy with the assistance of the Transport Fuel Substitution Administration at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Electric Company. The projects stand for about two years, although an extension of another year is possible.

The companies Naykes and EV Edge, which manage loads at charging stations for electric vehicles in order to facilitate the electricity network, won a grant of NIS 1 million and NIS 1.1 million, respectively.
