Under the hood comes Media-Tech’s Dimensity 800U chipset to power the Realme V15 5G. This is a relatively new chipset launched in August 2020 and manufactured in a 7-nanometer process, with its integrated processor including 8 cores at a maximum frequency of 2.4GHz and the ARM Mali-G57 graphics accelerator.

Next to the processor is an LPDDR4X working memory (RAM) device with volumes of 6 or 8 GB, a UFS 2.1 storage component with a capacity of 128 GB without expansion option (there is support for a pair of nanoSIM cards) and a battery with a capacity of 4,310mAh, which offers fast charging support 50 watts, with Brilmi noting that a charger supporting 65 watts is included in the package.

Prices and launch date

The company will launch the Realme V15 5G in the Chinese market starting January 14, when it will arrive with the Android 10 operating system and the adapted Realme UI user interface and will offer support for 5G networks, Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 802.11ac. The device will come in silver, blue and orange-purple colors, at the following prices:

• Realme V15 5G with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage at 1499 yuan (about $ 230)
• Realme V15 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at 1999 yuan (about $ 310)

The V series has not yet launched the models in Israel, so at this stage the V15 model is not expected to arrive in Israel with official imports.
