Shahid Kapoor’s haunting filming incorporates cinematic gems like Haider, Udta Punjab, Jab we met and “Padmaavat“among others but now he wants to play” typecast hero. We don’t know what Shahid Kapoor’s definition of “typecast hero” is but we do know what inspired him to work towards that. The answer is his wife Mira Rajput, who would be unique happy to see Shahid Kapoor in a movie where he gets to dance Shahid Kapoor wrote, on his Instagram story: “My wife has fired me about not making a film that is fun and where I dance. An open invitation, please give me something that will make me happy … #Typecast hero in need! Mira Rajput, I am committed to the cause. “

For the album, Shahid Kapoor has appeared in a dance-based film titled Dance Chance Pe, a 2010 film also starring Genelia D’Souza. Shahid Kapoor began his career as a background dancer. The actor, who was part of the Shiamak Davar dance group, appeared as a background dancer in a song in the film Taal, by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna. Additionally, we got to see Shahid Kapoor burning the dance floor in shots of the film Ishq Vishk, and songs like Mauja Hi Mauja, Dhating Nach, Dhan Te Nan, Gandi Baat among many, many others.
The upcoming project is Shahid Kapoor Jersey, in which he stars as a cricket. His last project was the blow of 2019 Kabir Singh co-star Kiara Advani.
