They will not play basketball tonight in Boston Garden: The game that was supposed to take place, between the Celtics and the Miami Heat (02:00 Israel time) will be postponed, due to the outbreak of Corona in both teams. Earlier today (Sunday), Boston announced that no less than nine of its players will not be able to play, and after an outburst was also revealed in the ranks of the runner-up – it was decided by the NBA League to cancel the game tonight.
As you may recall, Boston previously announced nine absences, including those of Jason Taitum, Jaylen Brown and Tristan Thompson due to Corona, while both Kamba Walker and Romeo Langford will be absent due to injuries. This left with only eight players, one more than the continuum set by the league.
The decision came finally, after a Miami Heat player received an indecisive scrutiny, which means Miami did not even have eight players to appear for the game, so the game was canceled and postponed to an unknown date. Despite the outburst, Adrian Wozniacki reports that the league has no intention, at least not at this stage, of stopping the season.
