Chinese scientists from the city of Wuhan, from whom the worldwide pandemic originated, concluded that symptoms of the cornea virus can appear within six months of recovering. This is stated in the results of a study published in the medical journal The Lancet.

Scientists came to these conclusions when observing patients discharged from Jin Yin-Tan Hospital (Wuhan, China) between January 7, 2020 and May 29, 2020.

The study included 1,733 people hospitalized with Covid-19.

Many were hospitalized before the disease even got its name.
