The IDF Spokesman reports today (Saturday) on an incident of an attempted terrorist attack, while firing on IDF fighters in northern Samaria. The incident took place around 3:00 PM, near the village of Yaved, in the “Menashe” regional division. There are no casualties to our forces.

According to the report, the attempted attack was aimed at IDF fighters who were behind a checkpoint at a military post on the spot. The terrorist’s weapon is at a point, and IDF forces are blocking the area and chasing the terrorist.
An IDF spokesman updates that two terrorists who were in the vehicle waiting to be checked at the checkpoint rushed at IDF fighters who were staying there, in an attempt to run over them. The vehicle hit an IDF fighter who did not need medical treatment. A terrorist-type weapon fell from the terrorists’ vehicle, while one of the terrorists tried to fire at the fighters.

Last week, a terrorist attack took place near Halamish, when a stone was thrown at Rivka Teitel’s vehicle and seriously injured her.
