WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – It’s 2021, and with it comes a sense of optimism and hope for what we all want to achieve in the coming months. As we begin to put into action those New Year’s resolutions, it’s more important than ever to focus on your physical and mental well-being, and part of that is making time for the gym. With a fresh new year officially upon us, Teddy Savage, Planet Fitness’s Head of Health and Fitness Excellence joined NewsChannel 7 at 4 on Friday to tell us how we can build our own success.
Savage oversees fitness programs at many of his clubs across the country and is also a tutor for Planet Fitness’ ‘Home Work-In’ digital work series. Born and raised in Maryland, he has returned to his home in 2011 at which time he joined the Fitness Planet team, and has been there ever since.
Planet Fitness ‘Home-In’ digital work series contains 20 minutes (or less) per day, live workouts on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube that do not require any equipment, designed to against stress while keeping us all physically and mentally healthy. For anyone unable to participate live, all activities are also available on the Planet Fitness Facebook page and YouTube after the broadcast is over.
