Deputy Chief of Staff Guy Levy of the Israel Police was interviewed today (Thursday) about the program of Aryeh Bar-On and Aryeh Eldad on 103FM in order to explain how the police are preparing to tighten the blockade, which will take effect tonight at midnight. Sen. Levy clarified that he calls on Israeli citizens to respect the closure and help the Israeli police because they “remained alone in the campaign and need the help of the public.” In addition, Levy noted that the large number of checkpoints will be at entrances and exits from the cities, in order to catch the violators of the closure.

Why not start straight with the curfew? That everyone who moves on the road from hour to hour has no reasons and no excuses. It’s with a hard back and very problematic leadership with the preferences it gives to all sorts of sectors, and you work alone there being promiscuous and attacking you.
“First of all, I would recommend that you open your remarks to the political echelon. The police, as a law enforcement agency in the State of Israel, will do everything in their power to succeed in this closure – tight or not tight. There are currently unequivocal guidelines that will take effect at twelve o’clock at night. And a person can go to a demonstration, shopping or medical treatment, but it’s a big but, the supervision of the intercity roads and the entrances and exits from the cities will be different than it was until today. “At the moment they will not go. Anyone who leaves his house unnecessarily may run into a policeman, get a report, turn around, and return home.”
Levy went on to say that “we call on the Israeli public in all its sectors to cooperate with the Israel Police because we are left alone in the campaign, and need the public help. Not that we did not need the public help before, but now we need it more. I hear the mindset. In the spirit, and know that there are very many people in the country who long for closure, but real, substantial, and one that will bring us good results. We have 8,000 infected a day, and I’m sure it turns on all the citizens’ red lights. Our goal is one and only: prevention. We are very We hope the public will cooperate with us. ”
And what about the checkpoints?
“The police checkpoints will now be larger than in the last two weeks, but they will be in line with road traffic. If we talk about roadblocks in the evening, there will be 25 roadblocks at the intersections that will not affect those who return home from work. “In order to catch anyone who does not follow the instructions. All police stations will set up checkpoints at the entrance and exit of the cities, in order to reach the maximum closure that the police can carry out. I hope the public will cooperate and talk happily and not just closures and checkpoints.”
