In an interview with the Dutch media, Hemlock told about the roller coaster that his career went through during the Corona period, the birth of his home, the signing in Slovakia and the expectations in the Hornbein.
The goalkeeper, who signed for Slovak Nitra in November last year, has not played before since March 2020. The successful period at Sparta Rotterdam was interrupted early due to the Corona plague, and he returned to Israel, but too late to attend the birth of his home, Ella-Li: “As a professional, you must sacrifice a lot “It’s a part of life. Luckily I had a quality internet connection that allowed me to help my partner and be ‘present’ during the birth.”
Ever since he returned to Israel to visit his home, Hemlock and his family have fantasized about returning to the Netherlands: “We love the people, we had a great time here.” Unfortunately for the goalkeeper, there were no offers, and as a result he signed with Slovak Nitra: “My goal was to return to the Netherlands, and for that I had to play. I could not continue in a situation where I did not play for months.”
The goalkeeper has a significant professional challenge at Herenbein. He is expected to serve as second goalkeeper to Erwin Mulder. The latter also joined Herenbain just this season, conceding 21 goals in 14 appearances: “I will give everything I have,” said Hemlock regarding the competition for the first goalkeeper jersey, “Erwin is an excellent goalkeeper, so I will have to wait for my chance. “Especially in football.”
