Coalition Speaker MK Miki Zohar today made a controversial statement after comparing, ostensibly, the protesters who broke into Capitol Hill last night in the American capital, Washington, and the protesters against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
MK Zohar wrote on Twitter: “A question that bothers me: What is more serious and damaging to democracy? A violent attack by American citizens on the Capitol building in Washington, or a violent attack by Israeli citizens on the Prime Minister’s House in Jerusalem? Objectivity is an important feature, I suggest to the media and political opponents It is up to us to try and adopt it from time to time. “

Zohar referred to the protest of the protesters against Netanyahu at the entrance to the Prime Minister’s residence in Balfour, in which hundreds of demonstrators blocked the back entrance to the residence, at the corner of Balfour and Smolenskin streets, which every Saturday during the demonstration, blocked by police. The demonstrators carried burning torches and waved a sign reading “Siege of Balfour”. Police detained or arrested 11 protesters who violated the order.
In response to Zohar’s remarks, the protest movement against Netanyahu, “Prime Minister”, said that “Mickey Zohar is a senior soldier in Netanyahu’s criminal organization who never stops inciting and lying. “They tried to break into the residence hall, but it seems that the obsessive preoccupation of the Balfour propaganda machine with demonstrations has given rise to a new record of hallucinations and Pike News.
