Begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Ministry of Health confirmed today (Monday) in principle that citizens with a “green passport” will be able to enter a sporting event. The Ministry of Sports believes that the sports audience in Israel will begin to return gradually starting in March.
In the outline presented by the Ministry of Health, the sectors in which the green passport can be activated will be: cultural performances, sporting events, conferences, events and museums. It is still unclear whether the green passport will also apply to restaurants, cafes, shopping malls, hotels, gyms and swimming pools.
According to the presentation presented today in the Constitution Committee of the Knesset, the green passport will allow passage and entry into activity and will apply to vaccinated, recovering, PCR infected. The passport will be accessed on an application in the issuance of a physical form and in IVR. The permit includes a move for family members and children and will be activated subject to the policy of opening the economy.
