Isla Fisher has shared her mind that the Covid-19 vaccine is on the horizon, and hopes that the respiratory virus will be ‘zapped’ in 2021.
The 44-year-old actress, who recently moved to Australia with her husband, Sacha Baron Cohen, and their three children, took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo of herself in a future superhero costume.
Standing with a front thermometer in her hand, she wrote in the caption: ‘C’mon 2021, it’ s time to zap Covid! ‘

Her appointment comes after Prime Minister Scott Morrison defended his strategy to roll out the Covid-19 vaccine, saying there would be no ‘briefs’ when it comes to ‘allow injection.
Mr Morrison said Australia was in a much better position than other countries fighting the pandemic so the vaccine did not have to be released earlier than March.

The government has reached contracts with AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Novavax to deliver the injection, which Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt expects all Australians should reach by October.
