In the last week of 2020, there was a last-minute demand from contractors for land construction, after tenders were completed by the Israel Land Authority for the construction of 9,000 housing units, some as part of reduced housing (the new plan replacing the price-per-tenant plan). This is after very little land has been marketed for construction in recent months and a planning blockage has been created.
Until these tenders mature into apartments under active construction, we continue to check the condition of the apartments in the area. To get an indication and understand what the cost of properties around the country is, we checked the prices of second-hand apartments recently sold with the help of the national real estate chains Anglo Saxon and RE / MAX, which provide weekly data on real estate transactions.
