Singer and songwriter Harry Styles has released a new song called “Treat People With Kindness” which appeals to the generosity of the human spirit.
The words ask “can we find a place to feel good, and can we treat people with kindness.” The song, despite the puppies’ tone, is not fanciful. It is well known that our current world is not perfect. But maybe he can be full of kindness?
The song assumed it was even more relevant because of everything that happened in 2020.
The music video, starring English actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge, best known for Fleabag, serves as a lively dance number that taps the legs. The cinematography is done in a sepia color palette in retro style and the suits (loose pants and Styles sequined jacket, for example) are worn by Styles and Waller-Bridge depending on the situation.
The song is very catchy on its own, and its music video is slowly rendered an icing on the cake.
