Packers on the left David Bakhtiari has allowed just one sack all season, according to Pro Football Focus
Green Bay Packers playoff hopes took a big hit Thursday when the Pro Bowl left David Bakhtiari seriously injured with his knee in practice, according to multimedia.
The injury is believed to be an anterior cruciate ligament torn, the NFL Network said.
The news comes at a bad time for the playoff-bound Packers (12-3), who will get a postseason blessing in the first round with a win on Sunday at the Chicago Bears (8-7), or a loss or tie the Seattle Seahawks (11-4) against the San Francisco 49ers (6-9).

Bakhtiari missed three mid-season games due to a broken ribbon, and Billy Turner moved from his usual position on the right side of the offensive line to left-back. An alternative to Bakhtiari could be left-back in second-year Elgton Jenkins, who was selected for the Pro Bowl.
Bakhtiari was also selected for the Pro Bowl this season, for the third time in his eight-year career. According to Pro Football Focus, Bakhtiari has played 758 snaps in 2020 and has recorded just four penalties while allowing just one sack.

Selected by Green Bay in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL draft, Bakhtiari has missed just nine of 127 possible games. He was selected to the NFL All-Pro team in 2016.
