Seba stars in this year’s team of the Arab world

Dia Seba continues to star, and this time off the grass as well. The Israeli striker, who only two and a half months ago signed for two years with the Al Nasser team from Dubai in the UAE, was chosen today (Thursday) as one of the ten most prominent footballers in the Arab world.

Seba, who was honored as part of a summary article for the Middle East Eye news site, was mentioned alongside big names, a little more well-known like Muhammad Salah, Ashraf Hakimi and Hakim Zeish, who also got to join the Middle East and North Africa team of the year.

“Even for those who are interested in world football, Dia Seba’s name was not very well known,” the Israeli striker wrote, “but this season everything changed after Seba became the first Israeli to move to an Arab team outside Israel. The 28-year-old came from the Chinese club Gwangj. And R.P. for a record sum of 5 million euros ($ 5.8 million), which made him one of the most expensive footballers in Israel’s football history.
