Despite the Prepear logo featuring a picture of a pear, Apple said in its file that the Prepear logo “incorporates a minimalistic fruit design with a rectangular leaf, which Apple will easily remember Apple’s famous logo and creating a similar commercial look. ”

Super Healthy Kids, the company behind Prepear, has launched a petition in a bid to persuade Apple to oppose targeting a small business that seeks to protect a brand that appears to be highly vulnerable. similar to the Apple logo, and the petition has added more than 250,000 signatures to date.

While Apple has not objected, it seems that a resolution to the controversy could be coming very soon, as films by last week’s U.S. Trademark and Trademark Test and Signal Board have called for that the trial proceedings be adjourned for 30 days as the “parties are actively engaged in negotiations to resolve this issue.”

Despite a 30-day official stop, all parties are free to resume proceedings at any time and proceedings will automatically begin on January 23 unless otherwise stated by both parties. .

If a settlement is not reached, the controversy appears to be ready to slow down for some time, with start-up announcements starting in March, major trial minutes starting in October, and a request to could be for an oral hearing that does not come until December 2021.
