Protest over the death of her beloved godfather: Protesters attacked police, 29 arrested

The protest of right-wing activists after the death of the boy Ahuvia Godfather continues, and tonight (Tuesday) another violent demonstration was held. Hundreds of demonstrators arrived at the Zacks junction in Jerusalem, and according to police, tried to block the traffic lanes. Police forces detained and arrested 29 suspects for disorderly conduct. Among the detainees are also suspects caught throwing stones at the time of the act.

Police said that the “forces responded accordingly while pushing them back to the side of the road. During the execution of the arrest of a suspect by detectives began several demonstrators trying to prevent the arrest of their colleague while they beat easily one of the detectives and fled. The arrest of the suspect was completed and it was taken away. At this point The demonstrators left the place and moved to the Bar Ilan junction, where they began blocking the traffic lanes.

After his death, there have been several violent demonstrations in recent days, during which dozens of participants were arrested, who attacked police officers.
