Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai will say on Tuesday he is stepping into national politics and forming a new party ahead of Israel ‘s upcoming parliamentary elections, Hebrew media groups said Monday.
“Hundreds of thousands of Israelis feel homeless in the current political climate,” Huldai said in a statement called by the N12 uprising.

“We will raise our chins and bring hope back. After several key figures in the Israeli public decided to enter [my way], it is high time to present another clear option, ”the statement waited.
In an opinion poll published Sunday on Channel 12 broadcaster Huldai, along with lawyer Ofer Shelah [formerly of Yesh Atid] And the Labor party would win seven parliamentary seats if elections were held today.
After the unification of the Israeli government last week, the Jewish state will enter its fourth election in less than two years, which is scheduled to take place on March 23rd.

In August, the mayor of Tel Aviv for the past 22 years has run his resolution for parliament.
“I am shocked by what is happening today in the country, I cannot stand aside [without doing anything], ”Huldai stressed.
