India captain Virat Kohli has been named captain of an all-star ICC Test Team.
Kohli has been named ICC Decade Test Team captain, having been named Test Team Captain of the Year in each of the past three years. He was also the only male player named in the ICC, ODI, and T20I Test Team of the Decade.
Most of England’s representatives were on the sidelines, with four players – opener Alastair Cook, successful fast bowling pair James Anderson and Stuart Broad, and star Ben Stokes.
Australia had two players heading for a star-studded XI, with their heavyweights David Warner and Steve Smith getting the nod. The batting was completed by New Zealand captain Kane Williamson and Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara, who also received wicketkeeping duties.
The bowling is completed by Dale Steyn of South Africa, who topped the ICC MRF Tires ranking for test bowlers for much of the first half of the decade, and R Ashwin of India named as the only person -spinning.
