If you have an old smartphone you may be able to get that WhatsApp ceases to operate from 1 January 2021.
The messaging app will no longer be supported on devices running older operating systems and, although some people may still be able to update and use their phones e, others with even older phones it will lose completely.

WhatsApp will end support for older phones every year, with iOS 8 or older phones and Android 2.3.7 getting the boot earlier this year.

Posting the FAQs, WhatsApp explained: “You can delete messages on WhatsApp by enabling missing messages.

“Once enabled, new messages sent to the individual or group chat will disappear after seven days. The latest selection takes control of all messages in the chat. chat.

WhatsApp also pointed out that when you reply to a message, the first message is circulated, and if you reply to an extinct message, the named text may remain in the chat after seven days.
To enable it, you need to click on a specific conversation, hit the person’s name and then scroll down to ‘Outgoing Messages’ and select ‘Next’.
To disable it, just change ‘On’ to ‘Off’ and your uncle Bob.
