With over 2.5 million likes of the video and 698,518 views, it looks like Vijay and the team can also rejoice about marketing happening for the film on social media.
The hashtag # MasterTeaserHits50Mviews has been waiting with over 22,000 people talking about it on Twitter.
The film, backed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is one of the films expected this year.
From the 91-second teaser, it looks like Vijay plays a lecturer / professor role in the film.
