Corona in Manchester City. The club announced today (Friday) that Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker have been found positive for the virus. In addition to the striker and defender, two professional team members were also infected.
City’s official statement read: “All four have gone into isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK government procedures. All club staff wish them a speedy recovery.”

The two will certainly miss the Citizens’ Christmas game against Newcastle tomorrow (22:00), as well as the meeting against Everton on Monday. The games against Chelsea (January 3) and the League Cup semi-final against Manchester United (January 6) are still in question, and depend on the pace of their recovery.
This is not the first time Manchester City players have contracted the virus. During September, Riyad Mahraz and Americ Laporte became infected.
