And Elizabeth Hurley was certainly dressed for Christmas time in a gorgeous black lace top as she took to Instagram to share an elegant snap on Wednesday.

The actress, 55, made sure she looked as good in the glamorous knot as she paired the cropped top with red leather trousers.

For the fashionable knot, Elizabeth chose the black blouse that went better than her cleavage enough.

She paired the pair of flared sequins as she posed in front of her Christmas tree.

Revealing her plans for Christmas day, Elizabeth wrote: ‘Ok- so it’s quiet at Christmas and I’m just home with the famine, but we decided to dress up every night at least PS my Gucci shirt is from the 90s. ‘

It comes after Elizabeth compared her locking experience to a Waltons program after spending time with family at her £ 6million mansion.

She spent 16 weeks working at the Herefordshire estate in a group of nine, including her older sister Kate, son Damian, 18, Angela’s mother, 80, and vulnerable friends.

Appearing on a program of Lorraine, Liz told host Christine Lampard: ‘It was like the Waltons! There were nine of us, but I was the only one who left in 16 weeks to make a brief attack on the shops. ‘

‘There was manual work, TV was not allowed until 6PM. We were all outside – we had beautiful weather in the UK – sweeping up, trimming, attacking things with a chain, making the outside beautiful, growing … We got all healthier. We ate a lot but it was manual work! ‘

Liz said: ‘We were very concerned about health, there were older women and a friend with low immunity who needed to be kept safe. We were just nervous and scared the whole time ‘.
