For the first time ever, celebrity chef Nigella Lawson would break the Christmas tradition. She revealed that this time she would be cooking pigs instead of the traditional Christmas turkey.

The 60-year-old chef revealed BBCThere is a Newscast podcast that plans were changed as a result of the ongoing coronavirus crisis in the UK as most people would not be able to celebrate the festival with their loved ones. And she felt that following a traditional path without a “family Christmas” would make her “feel what is needed”.

“Of course – and I made the decision only a day or two ago – for the first time ever, I’m not going to make a turkey – and I always will. I make pork, ”Lawson was quoted as saying by BBC.

“One of the things I think we’ve all achieved is how much we miss being around our table, so all that worries about ‘so perfect, if we should do this or that ‘, you will understand that that is really a feeling. about eating with other people, ”she said.

Lawson, however, believes that people will gradually get used to the “new norm” and learn to see things differently. “I would think that, for many people, the strange circumstances in which we live will force them to stick to the traditions, and not to add new and different things. ”

About spending time alone, the chef said, “I wasn’t lonely once. I have been very pleased. I am almost afraid to say it because it makes me feel antisocial about pathology, but I have liked it. ”
