Summary of Andulo’s victory over Barcelona at the top of the news
European basketball returns to the main stage: The 16th round of the Euroleague opens tonight (Tuesday) with five games. Along with the intriguing and spicy meeting between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Panathinaikos, there were fascinating battles between Barcelona and Andulo Zero, CSKA who hosted Villarban – and Real Madrid who hosted Alba Berlin.
Andulo Zero (8: 8) – Barcelona (5:11) 79:86
Second consecutive loss to Sharas players. After the drama last Friday against Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Blaugrana gave up, mainly “thanks” to a collapse in the third quarter, in which they lost 25:11 (!) To the Turkish team, which rose to a 54:68 advantage that actually ended the game. In the last quarter the Turks have already cruised to an easy victory.
Shane Larkin led the scoring with 23 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds, and Asylia Mitchic added 17 of his own, with 5 and 3, respectively. Kronoslav Simon contributed 16 and Bryant Dunston finished with 12 points.
At Barça, Nikola Mirotic’s 18 points were not enough, nor were Nick Claths’ 15 with 6 assists and 6 rebounds. Corey Higgins scored 14 more of his own. Barça will be available for the Clasico, with which they will close the year, in the big battle against Real Madrid, this coming Sunday in the local league.

The Blancos with a fifth straight win in the Euroleague are getting closer and closer to the top after a less than good season opener. The Germans, on the other hand, returned to Suram, as their winning streak helped them recover and escape from the bottom, but now they are with a streak of two losses at particularly high margins, with more than 90 points they absorb.
The host’s excellent second quarter (12:26) closed the story quite early. Walter Tavares was the standout with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Zenit (5: 9) – Red Star Belgrade (11: 5) 69:98
After achieving a big win against Valencia last Friday, the red star was defeated in Russia. The one-sided game started from the first quarter, when Zenit scored no less than 30 points, leaving the Serbs with only 12 points.
Zenit’s crazy run in the first quarter came in the wake of a tremendous ability from Kevin Pangos, who finished the first 10 minutes with 15 points. In the second quarter and the star still tried to make sounds of rehearsal, when they managed to shrink a bit, but this game was especially easy for Zenit, who divided the minutes between her players.
Pangos added just 2 points after the first quarter and finished with 17, KC Rivers finished as the leading scorer with 23 points. At the Red Star, Johnny O’Brien finished with 13 points.
