Human Things has launched a new Kickstarter campaign for a device called Genki: ShadowCast and has already broken its $ 30,000 goal.
In just hours, the team has already received over $ 300,000 in pledges and the device itself is priced at $ 39 USD.
So what makes this tool so good? It offers the simplest way to play token games on your computer and laptop devices, and does so without the need for an internet or television connection. It features 4K HDMI input and USB Type-C output, and is compatible with both the Switch and PS5.
The ShadowCast comes with the new Genki Arcade app – making it easy to find the ShadowCast from whatever device you’re playing. It is designed from the ground up to “reduce computing resources and prioritize latency”.
Human Things details additional action (of course a more accessible capture card):
“The beauty of being able to connect your game console to your computer means you can record, edit and stream your game. While it may not be at the same level as a professional-grade capture card. costing 5-10x more, it is more than capable of playing most game captures while being much more flexible and easy to use across multiple platforms. “
