OxygenOS 11 goes a long way from the traditional way OnePlus has been making its standard Android skins, moving away from its stock Android-inspired look and feel Samsung One UI-esque.
Its major cosmic changes nonetheless, OxygenOS 11 brings a lot to the table. New lock screens, new display options are always expected with even more features planned.
OnePlus 7 Pro
At the time of writing, OnePlus has already released OxygenOS 11 to the OnePlus 8 device series. Launch the OnePlus 8T with this skin out of the box and these are the only devices that running OnePlus skin ‘Android 11.
Other suitable devices are expected to be upgraded near the end of the year and early next year, at least according to unofficial reports.
So what’s coming to these optional devices with the OxygenOS 11 update? Well, the OnePlus 8 series supports AOD thanks to the update to OxygenOS 11.
Other OnePlus devices are also expected to get AOD with the upgrade to OxygenOS 11, but there has been no confirmation of the new AOD modes that OnePlus has been adding to OxygenOS 11 through incremental updates.
Well, so far. A OnePlus employee has revealed that the OnePlus 7 / 7T series should also get the new Canvas and Insight AOD modes.
While there is no mention, it looks inevitable that OxygenOS 11 will be the update that will bring the features to the 7 / T series and other optional devices.

Update 1 (December 21)
IST 10:35 m: OnePlus has released the Canvas AOD app for OxygenOS 11 (Android 11) running OnePlus devices. This will make it easier to deliver faster and smoother updates for the Canvas AOD feature. That app can also be used on OxygenOS 10 but functionality is reported to be limited.
