In an effort to strengthen collaboration between ViacomCBS brands, VH1 is ready for the first look of the upcoming season of RuPaul Draw Race on CW Network, MTV, MTV2, PopTV and Logo. This marks the first time in 12 years that an Emmy-winning reality contest will expand its broadcast audience. The draw queen competition hits the year “Ru” on January 1, 2021 at 8pm ET / PT.
The 13 queens who will be hitting the runway and vying for the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar” include Denali, Elliott with 2 Ts, Gottmik, Joey Jay, Kahmora Hall, Kandy Muse, LaLa Ri , Olivia Lux, Rosé, Symone, Tamisha Iman, Tina Burner, and Queen of Utica. As RuPaul loves to keep fans and queens on toes, there will also be a new version in the premiere of the season. The queens must immediately go face-to-face on the mainstream to secure their place in the tournament with six bill syncs for life.
The next look behind the scenes won an Emmy RuPaul Draw Race: Uninspected premiere just after the premiere of the season at 9:30 pm ET / PT only on VH1. Starting Dec. 25 fans will be able to grab every season of RuPaul Draw Race with a marathon of seasons 1-12 on Logo. Ahead of the anticipated premiere of New Year’s Day, fans can also watch VH1’s “True Ru Year” film marathon which includes Unrepresented, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and Mamma Mia. Season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall and “Miss Congeniality,” Heidi N Closet is expected to host.
