If it’s already Friday and sunny outside, then at least he will be accompanied by a colorful surprise from one of the funniest singers born here, Neta Barzilai of course, who is releasing EP this morning in surprise after repeated requests from fans around the world.
Who in recent years has become accustomed to plowing deaths in every possible country, jumping between Russia and the Netherlands and between the US and the Far East, found herself this year, just like all of us, spending many hours at home, and in order not to lose it completely, she created the “office”, the place Of Neta, the place where some new versions of some of the songs you all danced once or twice in your life were born.
“Over the past year, without being too relative and without making a big deal out of it, we created the office,” says Neta about the new project that was published today. “This is an online series that allowed me to be in direct contact with my audience, take inspiration from them and introduce them more. Deep into my private and wild musical world. Each episode was an opportunity to experiment and enjoy with improvisations and covers of trash-nineties songs. Just me and my devices in the office – and you of course. “Thanks to the series, I was able to bring out things that could not be expressed in the songs or polished clips I put out.”
“Some of the covers I did in the series went viral and received a lot of responses and requests from around the world that will be available to listen to streaming,” Neta reveals a bit about the work behind the scenes. “At first I thought it was excessive, but the requests kept coming, and that’s how the collection was born – The Best Of NETTA’s Office.”
“Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is a remake of the amazing song from Mary Poppins, and I imagined what would happen if we put on Mary Poppins Autotion and she could eat popsicles. “People wanted to be added to the playlist after I performed it on the next star.”
“All the arrangements consist solely of my voice – the drums, bass, harmonies, percussion and effects. The songs are by other artists, but while working they became my songs, and the whole project became more content for a small and exciting personal project,” concludes Neta , You only have to fall in love.
