Many parents have complained: the site for watching the festival has collapsed

Fault on the Festigal website, many were unable to log in and watch the show: Many parents who purchased a ticket for their children to watch the Festigal’s online show, which marks 40 years of existence this year and is being broadcast for the first time online due to the spread of the corona virus, complained tonight (Thursday) that they could not follow the link.

Apparently the site where the file appears for viewing has crashed due to large loads on the servers. The festival’s producers said that they are working to fix the problem in a short time – thus enabling the show to be shown soon. Many ticket buyers received the message on their phones: “Dear customer, there is a technical glitch in the system, we are working on it vigorously. Each developer will see the show in its entirety at the moment of entry.”

Less than an hour after the first reports of glitches, the Festigal production reported that the glitch was resolved in most codes: “It is important to note that everyone will watch the show from start to finish, each code is full view from the moment of entry.

Following the corona crisis, the Festigal shows, to which hundreds of thousands of children drain every year, did not take place this year in the usual format. Thus, in the production they initiated an online show in which the stars of all time participate. The show’s director, Hanoch Rosen, said: “I knew it would not be economic, but we had to do something this year. It matters – songs and music, it lifts and gives hope.”
