Today (March 23), marks the 17th anniversary of the release of Usher’s fourth studio album Admission. The acclaimed project featured a number of popular songs, including “Burn,” “Superstar,” “My Boo,” “Bad Girl,” “Admitations,” “Caught Up” and “Yeah!”. being the biggest hit in Usher’s career, surpassing the Billboard Hot 100 card for twelve weeks in a row.
Admission peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Record. On November 7, 2008, the record was diamond certified by the American Recording Industry Association (RIAA), resulting in the sale of more than 10 million units worldwide.
