President Donald Trump is said to be denying his election loss and has told some of his councilors he will not leave the White House on Trust Day, according to CNN.

Few believe Trump would continue to threaten to squat at the White House, according to a CNN report, released Wednesday.

“It throws a tantrum temper f — ing,” one adviser told CNN. “He’s going to leave. He’s just missing out.”

It’s been nearly six weeks since President Joe Biden’s victory became clear, and Trump has yet to acknowledge his loss.

Some abstained Republicans acknowledged that Biden, notably Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, won this week after the Electoral College was confirmed by a vote.

Trump, however, continues to push for a claim that Biden stole the election through widespread voter fraud, a theory that even his own outspoken lawyer said recently unsupported evidence.

CNN reports that Trump has frozen councilors and allies who have tried to force him to accept the loss.

One person, who said he had previously spoken to Trump regularly, said the president had not returned calls since he tried to force him to reevaluate his position on the results. .

A CNN report said advisers said Trump had begun to privately accept that he missed the end of last month, but then he changed his mind and it seemed like he was actually believing he was stolen from the election.

“He’s been getting so much misinformation that I think he thinks this thing was stolen from him,” Trump’s adviser told CNN.

A multiple source who spoke to CNN said Trump had made it clear to his staff that he did not want to talk about whether he was present at Biden’s swearing-in ceremony.

People close to him with the uprising said they thought it was highly unlikely he would go.

Business Insider reached out to the White House for comment on the CNN report but received no immediate response Thursday morning. The White House declined to comment to CNN.
