The Tel Aviv District Court today (Thursday) filed a shocking indictment against a resident of the center for abusing his children and his spouse. The indictment details four cases of domestic violence, the most prominent of which is the case of abuse of his daughter. According to the indictment, the father hit his daughter, slapped her, strangled her, kicked her and punched her. He threw the minor on the floor, threatened her with a knife, hit her with a broomstick and even whipped her with a belt, with her hands and feet tied, unable to defend herself. In addition, the father is accused of leaving his daughter on the floor of the room for several hours, during which he refused her request to drink water.
In addition, the father also abused his son and left him with real bruises. According to the indictment, he whipped him in the parking lot, tied his legs and hands and slammed his head on the floor. The father also attacked the mother of the children and beat her on several occasions.
About two weeks ago, the father was arrested by investigators, who noted that this was one of the shocking cases they encountered. The girl described to the police the acts her father had committed on her, her brother and her mother. She gave detailed and coherent testimony and described her feelings during the events, the fear of the father, the pain she felt and the bruises inflicted on her body as a result of his actions. As soon as the welfare services learned of the violence against her, the minor was evicted from the home to an emergency shelter.
Defendant’s attorney sought to test his mental fitness. The request for an extension of his detention until the end of the proceedings reads: “The danger arising from the father towards his family members is clear and immediate, and is learned from the offenses attributed to him and the seriousness of the acts.
