The 76ers crush the Pacers behind 26 Shake Milton

Shake Milton scored 26 points off the bench, Joel Embiid added 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, while the Philadelphia 76ers hosts passed the Indiana Pacers 130-114 on Monday.

Furkan Korkmaz hit six points-3 and added 19, Ben Simmons added 18 and Mike Scott had 11 for the Sixers, who rebounded after losing three points over time for the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.

The Sixers won without Tobias Harris, who stayed out with proper knee contusion.

Malcolm Brogdon led the Pacers with 20 points while Edmond Sumner added 18.

Domantas Sabonis added 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Indiana, who have dropped four games in a row. Justin Holiday got 12 points when Aaron Holiday and Myles Turner got 11 each.

Korkmaz made three of his five points-3 and the Sixers pulled out to a 52-40 lead with 6:30 left in the second quarter.

Matisse Thybulle threw down an alley-oop waste from Milton with 4:44 left and the Philadelphia win was 61-44.

The Pacers struggled with a turn (11) and a 3-point shot (3 of 14) as they fell behind 72-55 at halftime.

The Sixers were 10 of 21 from outside the arc, a big reason for them to maintain a 17-point lead.

Indiana tore after a quick 6-0 run to open the third to pull inside 11 at 72-61.

But a basketball by Seth Curry and a three-point play by Embiid of the Sixers moved back to a 77-61 win. Another jumper jump by Embiid and a layup by Scott extend Philadelphia’s lead to 20.

TJ McConnell promised a rare turnout for the Pacers and then Simmons scored a consecutive possession to put up a 15-0 lead for an 87-61 Sixers lead halfway through the third.

Doug McDermott was fouled by Simmons earlier in the third and lost a tooth. The Pacers soon announced that McDermott would be out for the rest of the game.

Sabonis dropped a jersey with 7:31 left in the fourth but the Pacers were still trailing 111-91.

Korkmaz then hit his fifth trey and the Sixers led by 23.
