Swindon Town 2-2 Charlton Athletic

Last-minute header Brett Pitman saved a point for Swindon as the Robins ended their five-game streak with a 2-2 home draw to Charlton in League One.

Pitman rose top to push him off the bar from a corner to break Charlton ‘s hearts and make the 2,000 inside County County look like 20,000.

Diallang Jaiyesimi made it 1-0 for the visitors in the 26th minute by defeating Ben Amos at his post near a tight angle, but goals from Omar Bogle and Chuks Aneke ended a turn for the Addicks who was looking to earn all three points.

Bogle hit the ball into the back of the net in the 37th minute after finding a place behind Swindon’s defense before circling Matej Kovar and making it 1-1.

Aneke then put Charlton ahead in the 61st minute with an easy tap into an empty goal after a beautiful move that slammed Swindon completely open.

However, Charlton couldn’t hold on to their win as Swindon’s substitute hit Pitman with almost 90 minutes up.

If one team was going to win at stoppage time, it was the visitors, but there was no set of corners to any degree.
