Progress Funding Plan published to support long-term success

As 36 sports, more than ever before, receive World Class Program funding, the seven Progress investments mark the beginning of a support program in new and exciting long-term sports medal potential. The seven sports are basketball, climbing, fencing, skating, surfing, table tennis and weightlifting.

New developments to the Olympic program will include investment in climbing, skating and surfing, along with the other four sports. Together, they will play a key role in a broader movement to take a 12-year view of success and to kick-start the next generation of Olympic and Paralympic champions.
