Aerospace maker and space transport services company SpaceX is set to launch its Starship SN11 soon. On Monday, March 22, the space company launched their Starship prototype. Mar a Space.com report of the test, SpaceX fired a static fire of the rocket’s engines at 7.26pm IST (9.56 am EDT) on Monday. A test flight of a future Mars rocket is expected to continue on Wednesday, March 24, where the prototype Starship SN11 will fly to an altitude of about 10 kilometers (6.2-miles), before attempting to land at a designated location on land.
SpaceX has static tests for its spacecraft where the vehicles are anchored to the ground while the rocket engines are lit for testing. The first static test for Starship SN11 was held on Monday, March 15, however, it was not as successful as the latest one.
SpaceX has been developing prototypes to create a space carrier that can move goods and humans to intergalactic destinations such as Mars, Moon and the surface of other planets. Earlier planes such as the Starship SN8 and SN9 launched well, but exploded when they hit the landing pad. SN10 tested on March 3, and exploded eight minutes after landing.

As per Space Flight Insider, the road closure and the temporary flight restrictions for Tuesday were postponed. But notifications to airlines (NOTAMs) are in place for Wednesday, March 24, and Thursday, March 25. That’s why the prototype is expected to be tested for high altitude on March 24 in the Boca Chica area, which is home to the SpaceX facility.
The SN11 prototype is part of a 165-foot-tall spacecraft along with a Super Heavy – a huge upgrade at the first stage, the Space.com a report said. In the coming months, SpaceX will have several tests for stars and Super Heavy.
